Dr B, being a punctuation perfectionist I'm surprised you didn't notice I missed out the colon in "Star Trek: Voyager".

I decided to let that 1 slide.

Please, be nice to her. She is a young lady, not one of your acquaintances, all of whom are not ladies by a long shot, gutter snipe.

I thought Paul had put her up to it. In any case, I didn't say anything wrong.

It's OK, Jim. I managed to stop her crying...

"Happened past" why are you writing like Mark Twain?

I'm not. If it was good enough for Alan Coren, it's good enough for me.

Lady, don't you know that as a beaver, he has no original thoughts? He must plagiarize. He does this with his webbed paws and a computer, searching through literature until he finds something that might fit the occasion. It is sad.

Yes, i can see. Had you plagiarized the above it would be "thoughts," not "thought." And "obscene ideas of things to do with trees" might well be considered unsuitable, and impractical, for this forum and the predominantly human population that uses it.

As far as I can see, most people on here think they are animals; Beavers, skunk, sheep and a grinch. It is a bit like the Longleat Forum.
