Microwave ovens.
Why so many settings? seriously, who cooks on half power?

Washing machines.
Who uses more than one setting? whites, colours, come on they all go in at the same time on the same wash cycle. Should white goods be made for the sexes? multi options for women and just the one for single / henpecked / lazy guys?

I've often wondered that. We've got a Zanussi washing machine with buttons everywhere - but we only ever use 1 of them.

I use lots of settings on my microwave because I spent 6 months with only a microwave to cook in. Boredom reduced me to experimenting and even making jam in it.

The washing machine I bought is an AEG and is very simple to use. It has so few options its brill.

I walk around on half power, it reduces my carbon footprint and you don't give off greenhouse gases so much.

Our microwave goes up to eleven, so does our deep fat frier but I'm not allowed to use that when my mum isn't in the house.

I cook on half power and use defrost and time temperatures and other heat levels also.

I like all the cool settings.. I have my eye on a new front loader washer that also steams clean fabrics and a dryer which steam drys also with tons of specialty cycles for like lingerie etc.. delicates and what have you!
