Only if I don't have another PhD to write!

Nice to be back too, though it will be purely on an advisory basis rather than a "chatty" one due to self-imposed time constraints. It's terribly addictive, this sort of thing, and I'm sure that Herr Doktor Biber will confirm this!

How much do you charge for this advisory role?
Time constraints, yes, i only spend a few minutes here a day now.

BTW, I don't see many NS people on Facebook? Perhaps someone could start a thread for those NS members who are also on FB?

There is supposed to be a TNS group on facebook, although i have not found it!

Paul - I've sent a link to it to your FB. And Eth's!

Would anyone else like it?

I'd like it but I'm not on face book. When I've figured out how to be on face book, I'll let you know. Perhaps some gallant knight would assist me.
By the way my stick is in the all together.

Carolyn - if you want to link up in FB, I'll also send you the link. As I said, look for "Stuart Dedrick" - there aren't too many of us!

MiL - What help do you need? If you put Facebook into google and follow the instructions, there should not be too many problems. Of course, there are also lots of clever people here (looks around in vain) who I'm sure are also willing to help if necessary. A naked stick?

The stick has nothing on it of course. Can I poke you with it now, can I, Can I?

It is weird, I found lots of people who were looking for me on Face Book. If you are not on it, how are you supposed to know people are looking for you?

Right underneath The Naked Scientist big yellow icon should be a link that says "Join this group".  Just click on it and that should do it.

I've just found out you can poke people on facebook but did it to Beaver and nothing really happened. The Earth didn't move, I had no satisfying ouch noise and I didn't get poked back. Can someone poke me in my facebook so I can see how it feels the other way around?

Sorry folks, disappointed from both ends. Surely some mood music would help when having a good poke.

Can people stop poking me now, I'm not in the mood anymore. I've got a facebook ache!

I thought it was two clapping hands, but now it looks like something completely different!

My husband told me the more you get poked the better you feel......do you suppose he was lying?
