Why do harribo sweets stick together when you have licked them? My son wants to know.

Harribos ( a variant of Harri-Bros) are kin....they fulfill and enjoy the very essence of friendship and comradeship. It is this philosophy of friendship and belonging that enable them to ' stick together through thick and thin !

This is true...the Harribo fairy told me...so it must be.

Ok...to make a completely uneducated guess..I guess when they are licked the warmth starts to melt them ever so slightly and they become tacky...when two meet up (in an equal tacky state) they kind of bind together as if they've been glued !

I know I am rubbish at explaining it but I suspect there must be something in what I have said !

Hmmm... there could be something in there about the tackiness. Maybe the saliva reacts or something. Just a guess...
