Is caffeine good?

Two years ago I read several articles that said caffeine slowed down weight loss, so I gave it up and with diet and lots of exercise I lost a significant amount of weight.

Now I'm seeing lots af articles that say caffeine speeds up weight loss.


Which is it?  Does it help or hinder weight loss?

As it is a stimulant, I would imagine it helps. Speeds up the metabolism & all that.

caffeine itself in moderate doses probably speeds up metabolism... but the added milk and sugar voids any small effect it might have for weight loss.

I think that you can do pretty much anything "together with diet an lots of exercise" and lose weight.
