Stand Up about Darwin, Feynman and Sagan
« on: 03/01/2009 12:12:51 »
hello, sorry to come on here and plug things. I am a comedian who recently put on a series of events with Richard Dawkins, Simon Singh, Ben Goldacre and a host of comedians and musicians called 9 lessons and carols for Godless People - a rational celebration for Christmas. I'm now off on a 52 date UK solo tour and I'll be talking about Charles Darwin, Carl Sagan, Richard Feynman and the run ins I've had with fundamentalists. Most of the dates can be found at robinince.com. I am a geek and I have no shame in that. oh and the show is called Bleeding Heart Liberal.

Heh - I'm a bit of a Radio 4 addict so I've heard quite a bit of your stuff - good luck with the tour.

If you are doing a Dave Gorman style lecture on "Intelligent Design" then this material on atavistic legs on whales may be of use...

or perhaps an audience participation game of "name that embryo" ...

That's great. There will be quite a bit about intelligent design and Darwin, but I think the Gormanesque lecture style may not be ready until the Edinburgh Fringe
