Sand particles and how sand moves

A coarse sand is very well sorted, has rounded edges, and is composed mostly of quartz. Make an inference about how the sand was transported.....wind, water or ice???Please use evidence to support your inference....

Think about the grain size and sorting that each method of transport would support.  Which method would give you the best sorting?  Which methods would or would not round the grains?  Which methods would transport coarse grains?  Which method is most likely to destroy the other minerals besides quartz?  Consider these questions, and the answer will become obvious.
