Just watching a repeat of the first episode with Billie Piper as Rose (Christopher Ecclestone as The Doctor) and there was a classic bit of dialogue.

Rose: If you're an alien, why do you sound as if you come from the north?
Doctor: Lots of planets have a north.

Lots of Planets have a Texas as well, but then you wouldn't care as most don't have beavers.

Lots of Planets have a Texas as well,

That's a blatant lie. There's only 1 other planet with a Texas - the planet Cowpu. Texas is west of Golarge, past the Little Big Mouth river.

I loved christopher Eccleston Dr. He was so fast pacedthat it made the first series exciting. I like the fact that he came from near me and didn't have the usual posh BBC accent. I thought it was quite sad that Tenant didn't use his own, Scottish accent.

My sons keep saying "I love bananas, bananas are good." and Doctor: "I've got a sonic screwdriver," Jack: "What is the use in that, what are you going to do put up a couple of book shelves? That will really save our lives."
These were both from the first series. I must admit I'm tired of the "I'm a sad and lonely Doctor with no assistant" line. I hope he doesn't do the last few specials without an assistant. It is not as much fun.
