A report out today suggests that a meal of lettuce and turkey a few hours before bed can help you sleep.

Personally I find a few pints or a whiff of the barmaid's apron does the trick for me.

You'll suffer from Brewer's Insomnia if you do that. You will be out like a light at bedtime but the B6 will kick in and you'll be wide awake at 4am.

No, no, no. You don't understand, it's not the booze or the sampling of the aroma of the barmaid's apron that puts me to sleep, it's the wack on the bonce with a frying pan, or whatever comes to hand, from the wife when she finds out!!!

*from the desk of Sheepy*

Sheepy would like ewe all to know that the Guardian people are coming round his gaff tomorrow to take photos for the article he will be in.

Sheepy will be autographing crude black and white copies of his photos outside the all night kebab shop , 36 Station Road, Putney between 3am to 5am**. Photos will only cost 100 each and will be presented in a frame made from air and in a bag**...

** Sheepy will not be there. Please feel behind the drain pipe that smells like wee-wee and puke for your photo and leave your money with Stavros in the kebab shop**
** Bag not included !

** Entry to the kebab shop costs 30

From the Desk Of Sheepy

Sheepy can't enter into personal correspondence until he completes the ' Diva ' fit he is having. He insists that all red M & M's be painted with a rendering of Botticellis' Birth of Venus !...and until that has happened he will remain in a tiff !

For your guidance though, the fact that he said he will be there should suffice that particular locale with enuff sheepy joy that it'll become the Lourdes of London !..please feel free to annually...nay, weekly pilgrimage there !

I have just managed to paint the girth of p***s on an M&M. I started off painting Venus but you know how confused I am.

When will you be in the Guardian so I can buy it. Please keep us up-to-date.

I would not advertise the guardian as JimBob will ban you. He is going power man and laughing in a demonic mannor as we speak.

From The Desk Of Sheepy

Sheepy sends his regards and accepts that a penile orientated M&M will do !..though, as a blokey sheep, he may well find it hard to swallow !....gulp !  (yeuch....someone has been eating asparagus ? ::) )

Erhmmm....The edition is due for publication on October 26th..that's a Sunday...He will have to buy it too cos the Guardian won't even send him a copy ! *le figgin sulk*

This means sheepy may have to get up early on a Sunday and actually go buy a paper !...Ah !!..except that he'll be exhibiting at a wedding fayre so the wifey of sheepy wil have to get it instead ! :)

I'm going to be on my second honeymoon then. Perhaps mumzie will get it espesially. I'm glad you like the M&M.
I think we should all write letters to the Guardian once you have appeared saying how wonderful you are and how we would like you to be a regular columnist. I bet you would like your own column. I've got one and it is great for putting under the litter tray and for wrapping chips.

Thank Ewe Mam, yes, I would love my own column and every morning I'm proud to notice my own... ;)......though, I love the idea of a regular column in the Guardian...Gosh, I might even earn a penny or two !...always wanted to find a way to capitalize on my insomnia !

Karen we must be like ships in the night. I can usually fall asleep but I wake up about 3:35am and don't get back to sleep again. I do a trot to the loo but I still don't drop off again. Annoying hey!

I drifted off sometime around 5:30 this morning....then I had to be up at 6:30 to get Nic up and out for school and I couldn't go back to sleep.  I'm starting to drag now.
