If Angela ran slower up the hills than elsewhere on the route, then yes
 she could have been going uphill for most of the time of the journey.


This is CORRECT !!



...and thank ewe for not saying it's  "Tibias Wombat" or something like that.

As RD says, although the distance is indeed correct (as Karensaid)..the fact that one normally slows down whilst going uphill means that Angela did in fact spend more time running up hill !

The answer is of course The Hollies...as correctly identified by our resident maestro Stu.

The numbers 5317704 on a calculator then viewed upside down = hollies !!

Is it because the word 'scales' is plural? He has two pairs, places one foot on each and adds up the two measurements?

I once had my van weighed that way to check that I wasn't overloaded.

Ok....I will reveal all here.

Karen is right there is somehting wrong with the keyboard....and I am pretty sure John Chapman knows what the specific problem is.


It's the middle row of letters.....they don't work !
