Cover the 3 from 31 and put 4 small dots on the minus, one middle top, one middle bottom and one in the middle at each end to transform the - into x

Karen - 3! is the sign for 3 factorial (factorial means multiply all the numbers lower - ie 5! = 5x4x3x2x1=120).  3! = 6 6-3 = 3

CORRECT !!...go straight to the top of the class...as ewe correctly explain:

3! - 3 = 6 - 3 = 3 (ie: 3! = 3x2x1=6)

Good job !!....gosh !...ewe are klevur  :-)

It does not. It spells G Z K, but the K is an obvious misprint for an R, GEEZER!  ::)

PS ... or perhaps we need to D E C the H A L s with boughs of holly?

Wow! Let me see if I have this right. You're saying Gene Roddenberry actually anticipated the formation of GZR Computers and Venetian Blinds which was only incorporated last Tuesday?
