I have a cheese plant. Now I'm not very good at remembering to water my indoor plants so they have to find water for themselves. They grow extra roots which reach out in search of water. A cheese plant is clever at survival techniques. As it can't get up and walk it has to grow these extra long roots that search out the water. In the summer I put the cheese plant on my patio. The weather was very dry so my cheese plant grew roots that went over the wall and into the soil below and they grew out and down into the gaps in the patio stones. I couldn't remove the plant from the patio, it had become one with it.
My Ash tree grew around a scramble net I had tied around it for the boys.

The tree in the picture grows in rocky arrid conditions. It, like the cheese plants, grows long thick roots that reach out in search of water. It will grow around and over anything that is in the way. As the tree grows up the girth gets bigger at the bottom, like my Ash tree growing around the tied on rope. This tree has grown so that its  girth has started to engulf the building. I think that covers it and the building!

It is indeed such an answer............ that should ' flogging' be a pleasentry..... then it would necessitate such a flogging that it would serve to propagate and promote flogging to a national treasure and pastime.

This is how ' meritable' that answer is !
