Spam, Spam, Spam, wonderful Spam
« on: 26/03/2009 08:07:48 »
My Spam emails have changed subject. A while ago it was all Viagra and other stuff to enhance sexual performance & make me a "big boy". Then it was loans. Now it has changed to Russian brides. I haven't visited any sites concerned with any of that stuff so they haven't got my email address that way.

I find it rather amusing that I get bombarded with the same type of spam for a while and then it all changes.

It got me wondering what other people get. What does your spam mostly consist of?

I am no longer in favour with the Russian brides, maybe because I didn't pick one.

Now I have loans, debt advice and no win - no fee accident claims.

Sorry Dr Beave...this is my fault as I use your email in all the Russian Bride sites I subscribe too. I did open the window one night and shouted out (very loud) if it was Ok...as I got no answer I assumed it was !

Thanks Dr Beave.

My spam has also changed - It is now "As Seen On Opra," "Speed Up Your Computer," "Refinance Your Mortgage," and a select bit of rubbish entitled "[SPAM] RE: tired" from an old coot near Oxford.

I set up a spam rule which sends anything endorsed by Oprah straight into /dev/null   It's very effective you know!

It seems every bank on the planet wants me to fill out a "Confirmation Form" at the moment. But it's mostly "Alliance and Leicester" this month - the latest ruse is that the form is time limited and they'll keep sending me emails until I fill one in. Yeah right!  [:(!]

Acai Berry is the diet-product of the week too.
And there's been loads of stuff from "menshealth.com"
Fake Rolex's are always hot. It's been BaselWorld for months now.

Since I changed my ISP email address last August from BT, I have
not received many spam emails if any at all.

But with BT I used to get more spam emails than the genuine email
addresses that might have been about 20+ spam per day.

This morning no spam phew

I changed my yahoo email account a while back because I was getting around 100 spam messages a day. Don't get so many now, maybe just a couple a day. Just waiting for them to catch up with me!   >:(
