If that Merc reverses a little and someone else parks close enough on the other side, the silly Smart driver wont feel so smart when they can't open the doors to get back in.

Not enough room for anyone to park the other side (except another Smart parked the same way). There's a rubbish skip in the road. You can just see the corner of it in the photo.

This is the classic "quick getaway" parking style.. they are either robbing the house behind or the owner of the vehicle is a 'special visitor' to the owner of the house.
