Magnetised or just Mesmerised
« on: 05/04/2009 11:54:33 »
Hi I came across a product claiming the fowling:

Fuel is fossil based and contains elements which can be magnetised.

E-MAG breaks down the elements into smaller clumps of molecules, giving a better balanced mixture of fuel and oxygen and hence more efficient combustion. The extra power which is produced can be used to give better engine performance, better mpg or a combination of both. What is certain is that emissions are reduced and this can be readily checked at the exhaust.

The benefits for any engine are smoother running, reduced maintenance (because of more complete burning), a reduction in deposits and cleaner oil - leading to an improvement in engine life.

For Petrol engines, the reduced emissions mean an extended life for costly Catalytic Converters.

Diesel engines benefit from a reduction in black smoke and PM10 particulate emissions. Gas powered engines benefit by a hotter burn at the point of combustion which can lead to a saving in fuel usage of up to 15%.

taken from e-mag.org.uk

(They also make the same type of produce for water)

My question is there any validly to their claim?

Hadrian

1. They presumably mean 'compounds, not elements?
2. This has been claimed since Hr. Benz first put petrol onto the tank of his first vehicle. I have not seen any seriously accredited results proving that the idea works.

Yes I would have to agree. Especially now when energy and carbon emissions etc are so topical and important, you would think if there was any truth in it, they have an independent imperial study in place.

You keep it afloat by pouring money into it.
