Actually, it looks like the NiCad battery from my video camera. That's about the size of a 2p piece.

It's not a battery at all. In fact it has no electrical components whatsoever...it's a solid disc, with a concave dent in the middle of the top.

Hmmm..it's possible this may be too hard !

Yes...there is a chance you may have seen it....I will offer clues...for instance.

You can buy them in packs of 8 or 6...

...1 by itself is of little use !!

Mickey is the closest...it does go underneath ..something...and it is a protector !

It has very dense foam underneath it  !!...does that help ?

Remember I said you can get them in packs of 6 or 8 (Ok...start the condom jokes !!)...it STANDS to reason that you would use the whole pack....!!...c'mon guys (and cheeky little lady)...you can figure it out now !!...can't you ?

When you put that they're sponge-backed, it got me thinking. Sponge backing is typically used to absorb shock, cut down on vibration, or prevent slipping. Do they maybe go under speakers?
