You mean like mine here.....It must be sized down a tad.. get a photobucket account for free.

photobucket.com

then upload a picture of yourself into photobucket   then copy the full url... not the top one but under
It will need to be placed in betwen the imaging bracuts you have cu andpasted to your profile.. or just type    and put your url in between these bracuts.... then click done.. it neds to go in you signature area sometimes you need to make the dimentions smaller...like I did.

He either already has done it with that signature, or is thinking about a picture like Bens TNS logo:

If you are thinking of a picture where Ben has a logo, then no, you can't have one.

Good point Paul.. I was not thinking about that logo!  I did see his  sig...but thought he meant a picture of himself but you make a good point about what he mentioned about Ben V in particularly.... Thanks!

Before my time here, it was decided that forum users would not have the ability to use avatar pictures, partly to keep the forum looking tidy, partly to avoid potential copyright issues, and partly to keep the size/loading speeds down.

It was also felt that those of us who work for the Naked Scientists should have one, so people would know when they're interacting with the people behind the podcast.

Right thats it... stuff finding better ways to treat cancer, or a drug cure for Alzheimers.... I am going to make myself a name as a witty, charasmatic yet intelligent microbiologist, and charm my way into TNS studio, get myself working on the show and finally then my lifes ambition will come to fruition.... to get an avatar on this forum!!  ;D

I had always thought that the TNS profiles are private only to the
TNS members not "guests" lurking/reading the site?

If not I'll drastically edit my TNS profile !!!!!!
