Rain drops keep falling in my car
« on: 15/06/2005 04:02:53 »
What the? Heading off to work this frosty morning and as I turn the first corner I see in my periphery vision a drop of water fall onto my bag sitting on the seat next to me. Thinking I must have had some sort of leak in the roof or open window I pulled over and checked.

Not only were the windows not open but I couldn't find any moisture on the roof or anywhere inside the car. As you can imagine this had me rather perplexed.

So if you have any bright ideas about why it is raining in my car I'll be interested to hear them.

Tim

Sure it is just a simple leak somewhere or such like but i'll be damned if I could find it. Then again I would have expected a leak to continue leaking not just be a once off drop

Could it have been like condensation in the car if the car was dead warm? Because it was frosty outside you probably had the heating on full blast and any moisture might have like well condensed

Yup Adelaide.. been mighty cold here.. well for Adelaide over the last couple of weeks.

Yeah I thought maybe condensation but still would have expected to find a damp patch where it had gathered on the roof. Surely it wouldn't have suddenly condensed in mid air!?!?
