Biology Assignment Help - Please
« on: 19/05/2009 06:48:52 »
Hey,
My year 12 biology assignment is called Human Reproductive Technologies and I'm a little stuck on one of the points I need to cover.
A part of it I need to talk about microsurgery, and more specifically, why it is often unsuccessful when done on blocked fallopian tubes.  I know that it can be because the damage may be too extensive, however for year 12 I'm thinking I need a little more detail than that.  I can't find anything more than that though on the net, so does anyone else have some more info on it or a link that could help me, please?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Do you live in NZ because I remember doing something like this,
This is only a link for the assessment, not information on microsugery:

No, I live in Australia.
The assignment is morre on ART with some other stuff thrown in.
THe context is;
A couple married when they were both 29... 5 years later decided to start a family... unsuccessful as she had blocked fallopian tubes... looked at adoption and microsurgery... then decided on ART and was successful on the second attempt.

This part I (currently) need help with is just on the reason why they wouldn't have chosen to go through with microsurgery.

I wouldn't do that.  Even if I would I could only give you a virtual beating.  Not sure you could really feel that. :)
