Since you can pick only 1 fruit in total, here's how to do it:
You first take a fruit from the box labeled as mixed.
Let's say you pull out an apple.
Now you know that Mixed -> Apples

Now you also know for sure that Apples -> Orange and Oranges -> Mixed since all boxes were labeled incorrectly, and if Apples were mixed, the box Oranges would be labeled correctly

See i knew it was right!!! It was my tired brain and John getting me all flustered last night.....!!

Well done! john
I think we've got it
now lets think of a hard one for Nizzle

While I'm waiting: Here's one for you all..

A knight was summoned by the King to rescue his daughter. She was held captive by a wizard and protected by a curse.
The King explained the curse to the knight as the wizard explained it to the King.
"The wizard has magically constructed two towers next to each other, each with his own stone guard.
When approaching a guard, it comes to life and you're allowed to ask one question.
After asking one question to one of the guards, it's impossible to ask a second question to any of two guards.
One of the two guards always lies, to any question asked to him.
The other guard always tells the truth when asking him any question."
The King continued his explanation: "After asking the question, You have 5 minutes to open the door of the tower in which my daughter is held captive. If you wait any longer, you'll get struck by lightning, if you open the door of the tower that doesn't hold my daughter, you will also get struck by lightning."
"Do you know which guard is lying and which guard is telling the truth?" asked the knight to the King.
"No, I'm afraid not." was the King's response.

The Knight prepared himself for the quest, saddled his horse, and drove it towards the two towers, while thinking..

Which question would I have to ask to one of the guards to know without a doubt in which tower the princess is held captive?

Would the other guard tell me that this is the door to the princess?

edit - that's an easy one for fans of Labyrinth...

Ask one guard what the other guard would say when asked which tower the princess is in, then go to the other tower.
If its the lying guard, he will tell you the opposite of the truthful one.
If it is the truthful guard, he will tell you what the lying one would say, which wouldn't be true.

Well now when I've answered your question, I think its your turn now ;).
"a rich man had two sons who were very lazy, when the man was about to die he called his two sons and asked them that he is going to give all his wealth to one of them.
he asked them to have a race till the capital city and the one whose horse will reach the capital the last would be the winner. the two sons after that starts roaming around so that none of their horse could reach the capital. they explained their situation to an old man. the old man said two words and after hearing that they both starts the race as fast as they could.
What were the two words?"

The old man would be saying that their father lied about the conditions of the race...

But I know the answer - it's "Swap Horses"

Ok I have one...

Beulah died in the Appalachian Mountains, while Craig died at sea. Everyone was much happier with Craig's death.
Why?

I think Beulah and Craig are closely related to Harry Cain.

Beulah is such an unusual and specific name that I wiki'd it. One of the results is Hurricane Beulah. That's something that everyone would rather live and die over the sea than over the Appalachians. And there must have been a Hurricane Craig. So could that be the answer?

OK I've an very intersting one for you guys.
A man had a donkey which he used to use for taking goods to the city to sell. in the mid way there was a small river which they had to cross. the donkey purposely slip down in the river so that half of the stuff is wasted in the water and his wieght becomes lighten. the man gets the donkey's trick. now he has to think of something that does not waste in the  water and the donkey should also learn a lesson. what that could be?
I was in my 5th standard when my teacher told me this now its you guys turn answer please.

Sorry, been distracted.  I would assume he loaded empty bottles low down on the donkey, or started a laundry service.

I can say you're quite close but the answer is a bit different.
think of something that if the donkey would slip in the water and stand back he should feel the wieght loaded on him more havier then before.

Three. There's only two varieties so any three should produce a matching pair.
