Round & Round the Garden
Like a teddy bear
One step, two step
Tickle you under there !!

We should post ' round ' related/orientated posts !....well..that's what ewe are doing anyway eh ?  :D

I agree, but the occasional changing of subject (subtle or harsh, depending on circumstances) also counts...
shall we?

Does anyone remember the BBC sitcom with Richard Briers, "Ever Decreasing Circles"?

Ok I read the Wiki entry for the show and I have never seen it although it sounds like it may have had some seemingly good humor nd story lines involved in it!

If this thread were to go around in circles, would we be spinning a yarn?

Sting, anyone?

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that's turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it's own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking along the shore,
Leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand

Pictures hanging in a hallway
And a fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circle that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Pictures hanging in a hallway
And the fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair

Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

the song is beautiful... old (from the movie The Thomas Crown Affair) remade a few years ago with Pierce Brosnan and Renee Russo.
It's called The Windmills of Your Mind

Yes! I recall Dan, "Mirage" quoting the song in a thread some time ago also... I think it is lovely... Where is that boy these days?

Hello all...
I just ran 21Km this morning.... [^]

"Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows that it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must out run the slowest gazelle or it will starve.
It does not matter whether you are a lion or gazelle.
When the sun comes up you better be running."
