Should have seen it coming
« on: 12/08/2009 22:08:14 »
Quote
A crystal ball which magnified the sun's rays ended up setting a flat on fire and making a television explode.

The television set blew up after the beam of light from the crystal ball, valued at around £20, burned onto its side,
creating an explosion that could be heard several streets away.

The blaze destroyed most of the first floor property, which could take months to refurbish.

As a clairvoyant she should have been able to predict the fire  :) , if only she’d read TNS forum …

Maybe suitable for a reenactment by Daveshorts's for his kitchen/garage science,
[a spherical goldfish bowl may be cheaper than a crystal ball].
