could it possibly be
that in her dictionary
love and lies are defined both the same
i know how she can catch the ideal man
join a singles club for the insane

LOL.. Dude have you ever joined a singles club or lonely hearts club...? They suck eggs! Its a racket and mostly really sleasy.. at least that has been my experience...

Such saddened words you write here with,
and toss them out so cold,

What has turned your heart away,
and let your mind be sold...

Pray tell the pain, heard in the words,
the knife it takes its toll!

And rips it deep within her heart,
The blood it doth now flow!

Love is a shade in the midst of the day,
when your lover says there is nothing left to say.

love is a riddle when it's in it's grandest form,
but the riddle is never solved because by the end of torment to solve it, you are inexorably torn.

Love is hate which resides in us all.
It leads to those relationships cast upon a wall, like paintings in a manners hall.

Love is but love.

(PS. Quite literally off the top of my head lol)

Will miss your posts here also in your new thread!

Well, speak your mind, and free your soul,
truth will tell, and take its toll.

A simple man he trys to write
“the connosures selection”
But head is fill with other stuff
He has found his imperfection
The gentle argument against his “quaff of quarm”
The bitter wine he gladly supped has never done him harm

Knowing  not the folly of his ways he carries on regardless
Such good friends he thought he found
But maybe before he got them has lost

A simple man he strives to win with jest and cheer
Yet always he seems to hurt the sensitive ear
And never did he mean to say such words so cruel
For he is just a very, completely, ignorant fool

I have never been able to write
These words I thought I might
Be able to just to say
I might be rather bright

So if I have offended
Just say, I will be branded
And I will always try to understand
The gift I have been granted

To write such prose that can offend
But Aim them at the origin
And not upset those people
That can bring me a grin

ok that ones a bit weak the next one will be better, in my accent it kind of rythmes

there once was a man who had lost his own smile
and he wondered the country mile after mile
never quite knowing what he wanted to find
for his heart lay heavy with the weight of his mind

he climbed a high hill
looked out to sea
he hear a voice calling out softly to him
open your heart boy for it needs to be free
and the next time your crying come running to me

Not lost, but gained a friend indeed,
with words explained on bended knee,

Those thoughts that fill a head indeed,
do cause your aching heart to bleed,

So release the pains that lie therein,
and free your soul again.

Never believe your friends you've lost,
with your eloquence you can amend,

Any words that you have thought,
could cause hurt, pain, or offend.

A sensitive ear indeed does hear,
the pain that lies, beneath the cheer.

So jest aside, the feelings to hide,
must surface now and then.

Sending cheer, and no regret,
Your heart is safe, so don't forget..

An honest question I did ask,
an answer did bring relief...

My heart at best, feels fine at rest,
New friendships, I must keep!

So rest assured no hurt in words,
remain entrenched in me.

So write again of love and sin,
but toil no ills among these friends.

There once was girl, who was way'cross
the world, so far that she could not see..

The tears of the boy, who brought her
heart joy, were washing away out to sea.

So she spoke from her heart, love did depart,
Her spirit went soaring away.

And there on the hill, the boy felt a chill,
as the wind wrapped her arms round 'bout him.

A smile found his face, in the love he embraced,
and her voice it called out to invite him.

Since Christmas looms ever closer on the horizon, here's a little festive peomage for your delight and delectation.

Christmas is coming,
The goose is loosing weight.
The tax man approacheth,
He’s coming through my gate.

"I'll have the drumsticks off that bird”,
He said in demanding voice.
The council man behind him said,
“The wings are my choice.”

Christmas is coming,
The postman brings no card,
Just a bill from Energy Co,
Paying this will be hard.

They say "We’ll take the offal,
The liver and the kidney".
They also want the medallions,
“That might cover our fee”.

Christmas is coming,
The bankers want their share.
They take the breasts of my goose,
For their own Christmas fare.

Politicians take the carcass,
And still hold out their hat.
They take away the giblets,
And even the goose fat.

Christmas is coming,
We have nought to eat.
Can’t afford any heating,
So we shiver from head to feet.

We huddle round the table,
And recite this dismal prose.
Then tuck in to what they left us,
Just the bloody Parsons Nose.

There's a lot of wierd things,

that depend on nothing,

Nothing is a void when push comes to shove,

but there is nothing in the world as empty as love.
