The sun goes down, the sky turns gray
Just another end to an unemployed day

Tomorrow I’ll get up and walk the pond
And return to turn my computer on

Again I ply my fingers to the keys
Trying to find an employer to please

The cold wintry weather doesn’t help
My career’s feeling as flimsy as kelp

The longer I go without some work
The more I look to them like a jerk

But I’m supposed to be infinitely cheerful
So people tell me ... I always get an earful

So my search for a job keeps going on
It’s even starting to make me yawn

Sometimes I dream of running away
To a far off place like Paraguay

If you're an employer in the Boston region
Who needs a scientist who can reason

Or one who can be quite poetic
Don’t you worry; don’t you fret it

Here I am; I’m who you need
I’ll send you my résumé at top speed

Just send me a message on this board
I’m here for you, just say the word

And, so, I’ll end this pathetic plea
To await the work that’s meant for me

Very nice.. I hope it catches an eye or two..
from someone who may have a job for you,

Let your fingers tap the net each day,
and surely work will come your way.

With spirits high, and mind refreshed,
keep up your skills, at their very best!

Alas the time will yield for you,
A profit from the work you do..

So keep a head held high each day,
Work will surely come your way!

And what wines and books do they have in the store today,
as my job invariantly sways?
So i grab close to a piller, and made one look up,
and i was back to my head, the one i have now shook.

amidst the dyeing candle light
i sit forlorn alone
a place once fill with laughter bright
a place i once called home

now the puppets are my company
but wood and straw cant speek
if per chance they came to life
im certain they would weep

what am i without your tender touch
the hands to hold and guide me
what has a use a puppet
with no puppeteer beside me

i do not care i have no hair
my painted face is scratched
must i spend my whole life
living with no strings attached

author unknown

it not mine but i love it

smiles and tears and love and fears,
A giggle shall pass my ears,

And each time you wine and stand in the line,
I shall look over quickly and sneer!

there is a pub a merry pub
atop a Parisian hill
and here they brew a beer so brown
ban v came down
one night to drink his fill

and there they hand a funny geo
mighty fond of jokes
lash embraced good banter chased
and drink intill he choked

and always a Colombian
proud as any queen
and when fit men would come around
she'd play with her hair and preen
