How Do Colours Affect Our Mood ?
« on: 01/12/2009 12:37:38 »
Dearest Colourologists Mood Makers,

As a sheepie I of course luff colours. There's nothing more I like than to get up first thing in the morning and think abut the colours I'll be seeing that day. It's my new hobby. Colours are my all time favourite  differing hue and tint type visual thing.

Look, here are some colours

Some Colours Earlier Today

Hmmm...mixed emotions right there !...don't know if I should feel happy, sad, content or just plain pathologically neurotic !

Why do colours affect ewe in a particular way ?..what's the science that makes blue calm , red excited,  and brown make we wanna do a poo poo ! ?

Ewe see, I don't know why a colour should affect me so..what about ewe ?

hugs & shmishes

mwah mwah mwah !

How Do Colours Affect Our Mood ?

I think its an association with the colours of nature, to some extent. Vivid yellows, reds and greens are often a warning 'I'm poisonous' in the animal world. Soft colours seem to say someting else. Blue suggests cold, perhaps because of the blue tinge often seen in snow and ice. Red suggests danger, perhaps because of the colour of hot embers. Green is said to be calming, this may be because of the colour of plant leaves. It is always said that a restaurant should not be decorated in greens, because the clientele will feel too relaxed and won't bugger off after they have stuffed their big fat gobs.
