Although alpha radiation is least penetrating and can be stopped by skin or a peice of paper....why is it more harmful than other forms of radiation if it enetered our bodies?;)

Because it is the most powerful ionizing radiation, of the 3 common types, alpha, beta, and gamma. That is actually the same reason it is stopped by a piece of paper: Alpha has a charge of +2, since it an ionized helium nucleus, and so it is massive. In a cloud chamber, an alpha has a heavy, short track, while betas (electrons) appear thin and beady. The Alpha is showing a lot of ionizing power. If you ingest or breath a radioactive substance, and it decays into alpha particles inside your body, it will do the most damage inside your cells of the the three.

This is not to imply that betas or gammas are safe. All ionizing radiation damages your body.

Yeah basically the alpha particles interact with atoms much more than the other forms of radiation because they are more charged, and they are moving slower, so they will dump all their energy very quickly. So they do lots of damage but in a small space, beta will do less damage spread out over more space, and gamma rarely interact at all so they will penetrate loads of matter.
