You can sleep with the light on but can't.......  ;D

Not true. It is quite common to have nocturnal erections and wake up in the morning in this way. It is colloqially known as Morning Glory and was featured in the song by Oasis. Fortunately for them "now, not many people know that" (said in the voice of Michael Caine).

"but to go to sleep with one?? "

I don't know. Maybe. But when is one actually officially sleeping? It's a bit offensive to actually go asleep on the job (as it were) :-) I think in Hardy's "Women in Love" a bloke does in fact do this but I don't think Hardy goes into the scientific detail of the exact relationship between the events in time. The woman was definitely pissed off though.

I was about to insert a crude joke about Tiger Woody here, but I thought better of it.

Yes I hate for them to get too hot too. If my feet get to hot then my whole body overheats and off go all the covers for a while!..LOL.. They need to be just right!
How about a thermostatically controlled electric blanket????????
I have a body controlled electric blanket that sends heat to your cold body parts.. You turn it to high then when your body or feet feel just, you begin turning the blanket down until it clicks.. stop when it clicks then it keeps you at that nice comfortable temperature.. not to hot and not too cold... I am glad you mentioned it.. I have it stored away! LOL

In Elizabethan England some (I think more affluent) people used to take a small shaved dog to bed with them to keep warm. Does anyone want to try that?

Our Shona (a Scottie, naturally) sleeps at the end of our bed. She provides just the right amount of warmth for our feet. Lovely on a cold night. She also doubles as an alarm clock. If we sleep in, we get a good face licking.

LOL..LOL Dogs are so funny like that! HEE HEE HEE!
