Did I get the Silly Sausage Forum wrong?
« on: 26/01/2010 11:51:51 »
Well folks, the old Silly Sausage Forum has undergone a few changes.

www.sillysausage.freeforums.org

Things weren't exactly going a bomb with the forum, in fact, it has been rather bombing out! But, undeterred and undefiant, I condensed some bits and added an 'Online Speaker's Corner' for some serious content.

I came to the conclusion that a forum dedicated to comedy, jokes and satire etc. needs a serious side for balance and to bounce off of. So The Silly Sausage Forum is now also a forum for some serious topical debate and opinion.

I have just not signed in for a bit.. no excuses but do know I will. been a busy few weeks.

I think your ideas were good. I am just really slow on a lot of jokes some zoom over my head and I end up being the joke instead..

Sorry Don...see you there soon..

Hmmmm? I signed on, but I am more drawn to TNS. I seem to spend far too much time on TNS as it is, and I am probably reluctant to waste any more time on another site. I like TNS because it gives me an opportunity to demonstrate my vastly superior knowledge of the Universe while simultaneously putting a bunch of prats in their place.

Is that wrong of me?

It is to bad Geezer's head is just oat porridge. It does cause some very poor judgment calls and, well... we have seen the delusional thinking just now. Poor man - can't help that he is Scotish.

Perhaps it's just me, or maybe it's just because i'm so used to this forum, or maybe it's from glare on my screen, or some other reason i'm not conscious of but the black background and white text seems harder for me to read than this forum's setup. I dunno, maybe you could do a poll of preferred colour setup or something.

Maybe it's the sausage? Looks more like a frankfurter than a banger.

Now why do you say that?
I would call him a good solid sort of bloke.

"Solid, solid as a rock" as the tune goes :)

Yep.

Nah JB, we just have to bend our heads to the knowledge of the sage.
Bending like willows under the breeze of the superior intellect.

Like I do, humble, always smiling, and, sooo Go0od..

I think it's one of those subliminal advertising things. If you stare at the ellipse too long you'll get an irresistible urge to go out and buy a tractor.
