What does ageing do to our brain? Why do elderly people repeat the same stories but never remember they've told them before?

What do you think?
When baby is born its think power is inactive. It grows according to time. In elderly age phenomenon decreases.Thus the function preform less active. The  part during 12-35 brain in be the state of activeness, as the age goes on started from 20s brain start making chemical less in amount needed by brain cause memory loss.
