Can electric current help to treat wounds?
« on: 21/02/2010 12:30:34 »
i just discovered this scientific type study applied to a jumping horse which had been seriously injured after falling onto a wooden post...huge gaping wound..see the pictures...large wound was not healing after a month...this method was applied for 3 weeks ..large gaping wound healed.

save the webpage to hard drive. Can be shown to skeptics.

read the specifications of the device and currents applied.

Microcurrent Electrical Therapy Heals a Recalcitrant Wound in a Horse.

http://www.midwestmicrocurrent.com/currentresearch.htm

see the pictures...very interesting.

NOTE:- YOU WILL NOT SEE THE PICTURES IN FIREFOX FOR SOME REASON..PROBABLY USING SOME OBSCURE PICTURE FORMAT BUT YOU CAN SEE THE PICTURES IN INTERNET EXPLORER 5.5 OR GREATER.

The study could be reposted with corrected pictures.

New topics should be posted as questions, please.

This is interesting, but there's some dubious assumptions in the text.  I haven't followed the references through yet, so can't really comment on how strong they are.

Just as a warning though, Profound, it's easy to get pulled in by sciency language, and you seem very keep to believe this. It's advisable to keep an open mind. (this is especially true when someone is presenting impressive research about something they are selling!)

They might do better if they included some punctuation in their blurb! I find it almost impossible to read, so I'm not going to waste my time trying.
