Hmm... I'd like some guards around the props but it certainly seems to be pretty nippy.

My first idea was that the military will install a camera on it...

There is 'copter-camera footage @ 6:30 ...

Excellent! What's nice about it is it looks like all the vectoring is controlled simply by adjusting the power to the motors, so the only moving parts are the motors and props.

Can you tell if the alternate props rotate in opposite directions? I'm guessing they do.

Well I'd consider it, but I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for you to use it to monitor your neighbour's domestic "activities".

You know, if he can put a skin on it, he could make it look, and behave, exactly like a flying saucer! Oh dear - perhaps I should not have mentioned that.

Seems like a very sound defense argument to me. BTW, did I mention I'm also a criminal defense layer? Very reasonable rates I might add. My law firm is:

Dewey, Cheetem, & How.

I knew I was on to something there :)

And it's good to know that there still some honesty and human fairness available, for me and my Hexacopter both. (But he'll have to pay for it himself, it wasn't me after all)

Just thought I'd add, re the aerial photography angle, that kite cameras are a relatively easy and cheap way to do it.  Just google for 'kite camera' for plenty of links.
