well this poem isn't over
why no it's just begun.
Who is anyone to give stars
to the son poking its head round your curtain?
Don't you know all the pigs
kick the bucket in the end,
in the end, even if your computer does love them.

Blame who you like but be sure
daddy isn't dead, Daddy cool.

Hip till someone leaves?
Still sucking snowcomes
from a padded cell.
So to all who write songs without words
why waste mine.

Just a Hitano, calling all
to the bud off the tree.
Still don't go far enough.

What if they make the same mistake starshell?
Get in line, Got a problem.

A non rhyming but thought provoking poem

The cat looked at its dead owner
and then down at its empty dish
It wondered what an owner tasted like.

A topical thought provoking poem
There are 646 MPs
That's enough to fill
The wing of a medium sized prison

For my mom on the 17th year of her passing...Aug 28, 1936 to July 9th 1993. Written July 9th 2010

              Love

Waisted hours of dreams unexplored,
and thoughts unexpressed, and thoroughly ignored.

Faces I long for from my past, my mothers soft voice,
I hear at last...

Singing a song, while weeding away, watching us children
as we grew and played.

Her sweetness I cherish, and hold close to me,
Her heart taught me love, the way it should be...

Miss her I do, each year on this day,
but, also each moment that comes my way..

What puzzles life brings, with twists and fate,
each step played out, loves never too late.

My heart does love so much sometimes,
and to think it would end, as My age inclined...

Yet another year has come and gone,
and I find my life is an endless song..

Melancholy, and sad at times, it is;
Yet joyful, and sweet, the more that I give...

To share my love, and give my life all,
I live each day, as tomorrow, I may fall.

To say how I feel, I love, I will, I am, I shall;
My goal in this life is to speak my hearts will.

Be true to the love, that in me resides,
not to hide it away, for another's foolish pride.

I am not ashamed, for the loves I have found,
I have given my heart, and had it stomped to the ground..

To those who stepped in, and hurt me inside,
I'll not harbor ill will, in my heart, only pride...

To give my love, and have it returned;
I'll never regret for with it I learned.

Love is forever, no matter the case,
I miss you my mother, and your sweet face...

 I love you...

Karen

hello Bob,

Have you thought of setting that to music ?..or is already part of a tune ?

Just seen this older part of the thread - as Neil and Karen guessed, it is part of a song.  Its Lovefool by the Cardigans.  its played in Romeo and Juliet (the Leo De Carprio one) and you can hear it here

'If you give a man luck
he must fall in the sea'
Apparently,

Yet thanks must be given
if that's not your rythum
all the time,

Of whose dog are we the shaddow?
Do our fins even care?
when and where?

Lust me to pieaces
because I dont wanna kill this monster.
you will find

Bubbles on the river side
Tango with a shaddows light.
It's alright.
