dear doctors

How did the asexual reproduction organisms evolve?

can you explain with a simple example ?

what is the evidence for such mutation ?

what I know that the mutation can make a small change of species' genes , but to change the organism from asexual to sexual we need many mutations..

1- mutation for making male
2- mutation for making female
3- mutation for making them fit each other..( Reproductive organs in each other)
4- mutation for making them Recognize each others.

............... etc

that's seems unbelievable.

regards.

This was discussed a while ago here:  http://www.thenakedscientists.com/forum/index.php?topic=14672.0

Sadly, that thread was hijacked by a creationist so the discussion didn't get the chance to go into much biological detail, but the basics are there.

Does it have something to do with RNA that doesn't require DNA to reproduce?
