Did the hadrons recombine, or did they desintegrate in dark energy?

I believe that two Protons colliding at high energy first dissolve into a Quark soup then as this cools with the radiation of Gamma rays, Neutrinos, and the generation of Electron positron pairs the quarks reform into a pair of protons.
I may well be completely wrong !
I forgot to mention the Gluon's the mass of whose energy is an important contributor to the mass of the proton.

I think the hope is that the protons together with the enormous kinetic energy will recombine for fractions of a second into considerably heavier fundamental particles; ie the hoped for higgs boson amongst others.  these unstable particles will almost immediately decompose (they are far too massive to be maintained) and the apparatus will be able to tell of their existence by the velocity, mass and charge of the 'debris'
