(Rae, the bear, should be sleeping.  Photo taken from our dining room window.)

It is if you run around in bear feet and eat like a bird.

Rae is soooooooo cute. Do you feed him/her??

Brain Awareness Week: March 20th is the last day!
http://www.dana.org/brainweek/

C'mon everyone, a pun about this should be a no-brainer!

Much as I would love to develop a relationship with Rae, I don't, because if she is unafraid to approach people someone could misinterpret her intentions and shoot her.  She obviously didn't eat enough to hibernate all winter, and she checks out the compost bin anyway, so anything I toss that she will eat, I set to one side so it doesn't get covered in coffee grounds.  And the bread that doesn't rise might get slathered with a layer of grease before I put it out because she needs the calories.  I don't want her to be dependant, but at this time of year there's little else she can get to eat.  Within the next month her natural food supply should be much more abundant.

Brain Awareness Week!  With an acronym like BAW, how can you go wrong?  If you added His Awareness and Her Awareness you'd have BAW HA HA!

As mostly a city boy all my life, your story from 'the wilderness' is soooooo amazing! I would ask my wife if we could adopt her, but she won't even tolerate cats and dogs (our Aby cat died at 17 - many years ago - and that was just too traumatic).

I like BAW HA HA, it's grown on me...

We're well into the last day of BAW HA HA, and I sense apathy...as well as indifference, and, also, a 'who cares' attitude....sigh...

OK, everyone, you have time to redeem yourself, because tomorrow starts:
World Salt Awareness Week! (London, UK-based)
http://www.worldactiononsalt.com/

To double your punning pleasure, the Week is sponsored by WASH (World Action on Salt and Health).

Worried about how your pun will go over?

Just take it with a grain of salt.

Fortunately my husband is an animal lover (we have a cat and a dog), and quite at home in the wilderness.  Once we get a barn built we will get chickens, er, maybe eggs first, er chickens...now which was it that came first anyway, the chicken or the egg? ???

Salt Awareness Week.  I SAW that. ;D

Oh sure, just because I'm female, you talk aout the WASH like it's my responsibility, and then when I point out that women have brains (BAW HA HA), you tell me to take it with a grain of SALT. ;)

Ooooooooo, thank you, thank you.  It's clear to me that this is a big shiny .....thing (a female technical term), even if it is a bit shakey.

Or is that behaviour?

The British spelling is behaviour, the American removes the U.  Being Canadian, I fluctuate between them.  Is that OK?

As a fellow Canadian, I say we can fluctuate ALL we want!

Sure it is Ok to vacillate. I learned that at university.

Or was it thru adversity?

Well it's probably University, but then adversity could... teach you, but I don't know I DO like the university theory, I guess I learned the lesson well, from adversity... or was it university.

She's liable to smack you with a leash if she catches you restraining her barely.

With lines like that you might get hung out to dry. Especially after WASH week.

Hey, Canadian daveman, if we smoosh (another female technical term) your nationality and your name into one word it would be Caveman.  What are you doing in Chile, spelunking?  And is it warm in Chile?

I wonder what the demografx are for his website?  How many Geezers, old_bobs, JimBobs, Bored chemists, and Don-1abies?
