I Donnah why but Iíve been researching the Demografx of the Punning thread and have decided that there comes a time when one has to Don_1ís community service hat and pay tribute to the contributers of the most popular thread that doesnít have ďorgasmĒ in its subject. Yor_on thin ice putting so much effort into a chat thread on a science forum, but itís not all about biology and Chemistry. 4 Me itís more about broadening horizonís, Karen While shariní and not being Bored. Chemistry is just a bonus. We also have to Make it Lady friendly and not Grizel dangerously. Whether you neil epiphanously before the vast barren wasteland, throwing peppercorns at Hadrianís wall, or whether youíre just a plain old Geezer like any Jim, Bob or Sean, Beware! Iím at faalt, I know, for not considering the Variol age of everyone here, but give me some LeeEway. Itís haRD being a constant breath of fresh air, thumbs up all the time. I donít know how dave managed it. Or how that John Chap managed it either. All I know is that that dam oc lesbian kissing scene from quite a few years ago left much to be desired. Why did you have to, in a rage, od river phoenix?!? Now Iím just ranting, I know. But as it says in my bio, ďwizard hats are nobodies bizĒ er, later guys.

In the making of the above post, I had the assistance of Kane my Spanish aid, or as they say in Espania, 'aido'. unfortunately, in the making of said post,
Enrico split his trousers (US = pants).

He is now known as 'Kane the torn aido'.

I told him no good would come of rushing to get the job done, 'Slow down', I said, 'there's no need to hurry Kane'.

Perhaps Enrico twistered his trousers (US = pants)?

She's using the power of chi, no sweat!

I would have thought her name was Jean(s).

My tailor, a very nice guy, sews zippers on jeans.

He wouldn't hurt a fly.

What is the plural of 'jeans'?

I have a pair of jeans.....
I have two pairs of jeanses......

or

I have a pair of jean.....
I have two pair of jeans......

Why do I have a 'pair' of jeans, yet I do not have a 'pair' of shirts???

I have a pair of scissors. I took it apart and now I have a pair of knives.

I also have a pair of tweezers. Which is very important. Have you ever tried plucking a nostril hair with one tweezer?

if I was demografx i'd find a humorous picture of someone digging a piece of metal into their nose to insert here, but I'm not so I won't.

After plucking the forest from his snout, he made a loud high pitch scream, it was a nose trill.

Perhaps he should do his chin next!

Come come folks, tell me, why should it be a 'pair' of trousers or a 'pair' of pants?

We don't have a pair of shirts or vests. Indeed, a vest is also known as a singlet.

We need a new thread here. Should it be in general science, mathematics or clap trap?

The question is 'What constitutes a pair?'

Hmm. It appears to me that you seem to have a vested interest in the answer.

You wouldn't catch Odyn plucking his whiskers.  BTW, his nickname is Odie Doo, or Doo, so we call him Cat man Doo.
