Hi, I'd just like to know what effect an increase in pressure, in a system where there are the same number of moles on either side of the equation, has on the rate of attainment of the equilibrium?

Thanks.

In all but a few weird cases it will increase the rate of reaction so the system will get to equilibrium faster.
