Dearest Sub-Aqua-Suntan-ologists,

As a sheepy I of course enjoy swimming beneath the sea. Out of all the ' beneath-the-sea' activities..swimming is one of my all time faves !

Look , here I am enjoying swimmy fun in some ocean somewhere

Me Enjoying Swimmy Fun In Some Ocean Somewhere

Thing is, I am a sun sensitive sheepy and I have been told that the suns tanning rays can delve quite deep !.....This upsets me greatly as I am generally a basking sheepy !...So, to avoid getting sunburn beneath the sea, how far do I need to dive to avoid sun burn nastiness ?..further elaborate luff as to the nature of light wave penetration of the sea would be moist welcome !

TA !

Hugs & shmishes

mwah mwah mwah !

I would guess being under 1m of water would protect all but the most sensitive of skins. 10m would protect from any sunburn, but you would run into other problems, and being crispy would be the least problem.

Best to use a lot of waterproof SPF 30 sunblock, or better yet a wetsuit that covers like Victorian bloomers.
