Well, it may not be too safe, but it's probably very efficient in terms of fuel per passenger mile. (The train, I mean.)

Mind you, as I'm a bit long in the leg, I might prefer the upstanding Ryanair idea rather than having my knees crushed by the passenger in front of me.

I hate that thing when you are eating your in-flight meal and the person infront suddenly has a sleepy moment and puts his seat back down. You are then rammed in the guts by a fold down tray and the contents of your meal land on your chest.
Anyway Geezer, what do you say to the passenger infront of you, in order to get them to crush your knees. I've never had so much as a leg squeeze or a foot massage from the person infront of me.
