.. I would like to ask why does the universe need a reason for being . ?. . . and also does it need to have a purpose.. . ? In my opinion i feel it needs no reason for being. . .It just is. I feel things can exist without there being a need for a reason.. . . .

I'm afraid that you really need to be looking in the field of theology, rather than science, for an answer to this question.
