REMOTE CONTROL
« on: 07/02/2006 20:09:31 »
The remote control for my digi box is weak and we need to get close to the tv before it will work. Its new and it is a design fault with the remote and i cant return it.:(

Is their a cheap and easy way for me to somehow boost the signal coming from the remote.

Michael...how new is it ?...if you're prepared to make a fuss (depending on how new it is) then the remote is clearly not fit for the purpose it was designed and bought for, even more so if it is a known design fault !!

You could either make a fuss until they either give you a better remote or swap the whole thing !!...else get a refund and go elsewhere. There's nothing like a crap remote to ruin your enjoyment and I honestly can't think of a way to boost the output from it

....a receipt isn't necessary...any statement showing the transaction is sufficient and any retailer who fobbs you off are not worth dealing with but more importantly they are flouting your rights !...well..i hope you get it sorted....i know what it's like...i've dealt with people who've had the exact same issue.
