Do we lose more fat in the summer, as we are hot and so the body has to use burn fat to sweat out to keep the body cool or does the body have to burn fat to keep us warm in the winter as we' are cold?

I suspect that our evolutionary ancestors got fat when there was plenty of food so that they could burn it during lean times. Sweating doesn't really require much energy and very few of us, nowadays, get cold enough for our metabolism to rev up in order to keep warm. The amount of physical energy expenditure is probably the largest bias of weight around ones set point (fatostat).

Do we lose more fat in the summer [and, put it on] to keep us warm in the winter as we are cold?

Shortening day length makes some people (and other animals) crave carbohydrates,
(presumably a mechanism to store fat for winter when food is scarce).

Some mad brave souls still do!!  Cycling this time of year is not so much fun, either!

I'd say I have this mildly (except I crave carbs all year ;D)...

It seems we find females with big buttocks and tights and small waists more attractive? Read somewhere that it had to do with the assembling of fat in all the right places, for her being fruitful and also be of good health?

Long time ago, but I think we can see it in a lot of society's?
