Harsh Singh  asked the Naked Scientists:

I've heard that there are three different styles of learning one can use to gain new knowledge.  They can hear it, see it, or perform an action while learning it. (auditory, visual, and body-kinesthetic learning). Many people are better at one form of learning and weaker with the others.

What makes someone better at one form of learning than another?
