Hi Chris.

I live in South Africa and am an occasional hunter. After skinning and butchering the buck I have hunted, I have to clean the butchery.

It is very difficult to remove dried blood from stainless steel and ceramic tiles.

Do you know of a substance which will actually dissolve blood?.

Regards.

Alex

What do you think?

The obvious thing to use is water. preferably before the blood dries.
After that I believe bleach works quite well. (I might try the so called "biological" washing powders too.)

I heard somewhere that coca cola works well - I remember being told authorities in America carry it round to get rid of blood on roads after an accident - not sure how true that is though!
