water-methanol-acetone azeotrope?
« on: 20/01/2011 20:21:17 »
I wonder if you can help me with this:
I need a three components mixture to use in a fractional distillation experiment.
I was planning to use a mixture water-methanol-acetone.
I believe that the two components mixtures water-methanol and water-acetone have no azeotropes... but acetone-methanol has an azeotrope so I wonder if this three components mixture (water-methanol-acetone) has an azeotrope?
Thanks in advance for your help!
