Can you tell age from finger nails?
« on: 29/01/2011 06:37:36 »
My finger nails seem to show a certain pattern associated with their growth. Is there some sort of "time stamp" in the pattern just as there is a time stamp in the growth rings of trees?

As we mature, the nail bed produces less oil and moisture,
and this rail and groove effect becomes evident as vertical [longitudinal] ridges in the plate.
