Emily wants to know: why does her scarf make a noise when she 'cracks' it, like a whip?

What do you think?

We've had that one before here?
Anyone that remember where it was?

When it comes to a whip it's because of its end traveling faster that sound, creating a 'super-sonic crack'. To see a video about it Emily can look Here. When it comes to the scarf? She's a pretty fast little lady, ain't she :)
