Dearest Dessertologists,

As a sheepy I of course ...well.....no actually !!..I really do not have a sweet tooth !.....but lots of ewe people do !

Look...here are some desserts for your delectation !! *le yum*

Desserts For Your Delectation Earlier Today...........Nice eh ?....

I'm a savoury sheepy myself !!.....

I have noticed .......many times....that however full people are after scoffing themselves silly !.....they always have room for dessert !.....I'd rather have another canapé myself........

So, why is there always room for dessert ?.......what's the psychology behind it ?

I asked wifey and she just says "there's always room for dessert"...well..............I'm convinced !!

Can ewe elaborate on the science behind a full stomach with room for sweetness ?

Hugs and shmishes

mwah mwah mwah mwah

Scenes of the restaurant in Monty Python come to mind........

But then again it is hot enough that an ice cream will go down well now, even if i just ate one half an hour ago..... :)

Just one waffer thin mint sir!

I have never understood those who eat crappy sweet stuff at the end of a good meal - only way to end a meal is with cheese, another glass of red, and coffee

I adore a desert but....rarely partake because it does not like me! I also am a savory girl, albeit I seem to gain more weight being a savory girl, then I am with a light dinner and a small dessert... isn't that odd?

Do it properly, start with the sweet foods and move on to the main course, finishing off with a drink of whatever is apropos for the occasion and your delectation. Ice crem is much better if eaten first.
