A aqueous solution is made by dissolving 1.0 moles of AgNO3 and 1.0 moles of FeSO4 in water and making up to 1.00 dm3.  when the equilibrium was established there was found to be 0.44 moles of Ag+.

   Equation: Ag+(aq)   +   Fe2+(aq)        Ag(s)   +  Fe3+(aq)
