Author Topic: why does the moon perfectly block out the sun's "disc area" during eclipse?  (Read 2078 times)

This maybe just a result of visual perspective , but I was wondering
why the moon is of a particular size and orbit, where by it perfectly blocks out the
"light disc area" of the sun during solar eclipse...
